Where I stayed
Only an hour and half train ride from Amsterdam, Cologne is home to a breathtaking cathedral called the Dom, the lock bridge, and Kolsch beer. The Dom is by far the most massive cathedral I have ever seen, with its center arch boasting a height of more than 200 ft. The Dom is not only massive but beautifully ornate with near floor to ceiling stained glass windows and hand carved statues at every turn. When you journey outside the doors of the Dom to the surrounding square you find nothing shy of a bizarre scene. A scene filled with bums, street performers, and the occasional wacko. If you walk past the Dom towards the Rhine you can walk along the river to lock bridge. Aptly named for the millions of locks attached to the bridge symbolizing never ending love. I too have added a lock to the bridge with the words of the not so great Ringo Star, Peace and Love Peace and love. You know what they say, when in Cologne.....Drink Kolsch.

Ringo is still alive dude
don't worry matt, he'll eventually die, and then your lock will have extra meaning
Cara..... I am very sorry for leading you and everYone else to believe that I am ignorant to who the surviving beatles are. In fact I was merely making a very obscure reference to Howard stern. A references actually directed toward a select few, you being one of them. Miss you
-love Matt
No worries bro... I deff got the reference. He's still alive regardless :)
less obscure references - more chick stories
Beautiful photos Matt!
haha Mark there will be plenty of time for those stories when I grace Perth with my presence , plus some stories are better told verbally!
