. I decided to spend another night in London so I could find better accommodations in Paris and Amsterdam. Saturday early morning I will be taking the Brittrail to Paris.
here are some pictures of my stay in London
This is a link to a video I took from Buckingham Palace. It shows just a taste of what the madness is like there.
From double deckers to cheaky pints, these bloaks drive on the wrong side of the car and the wrong side of the road. London is a beautiful city very clean and easy to maneuver. The people are generally friendly and helpful. Yesterday I spent the beautiful clear day as a tourist rather than a traveler. I went to the Westfield mall in the weee morning and experienced what some shopping enthusiast would consider to be the greatest mall ever created, trendy and over priced. I had high tea with the queen at Buckingham palace which was littered with tourist. After fighting the crowds at the palace I happen to meet some fellow Americans, April and and her step father Mark who spent the next several hours with me at the Tower of London. The semi guided tour of the Towers was fun and really interesting. The company wasn't too bad either:) After my tour I split ways with my new friends and did what any respectable tourist would do and ate Oysters from a stand along the Thames. I completed my day with a walk across the Tower Bridge and a view of the London eye and Big Ben
