One and a half days of Venice, it is hard not to fill up your camera card trying to take photos of such a beautiful place even if the weather is grey and wet. The canals, gondoliers, 500 + year old buildings and landmarks surrounded by water was overwhelming yet mesmerizing. My feet and knees have done their dash but Venice is totally worth it.

Our hotel is one train stop away from the city centre of Venice, so very close. It is a one star hit, but it is in our budget range and we are here.

Tommorrow we head back through Italy to Lyon, France.
