Today we drove to Beech Fork State park in West Virginia. On the drive we watched a movie, but I got a headache and took a nap. When we got to our campsite we went to the Visitors Center and got information about the park. We decided to go fishing. For the first half hour we didn't catch anything, but then Katelyn pulled up a Bluegill. It was really small, but she was proud of it. After that, we all started to get bites.
A few minutes after that, Madison caught a fish that was a little bigger than Katelyn's. Then Madison caught a long, skinny bass. I went up to the RV and picked some flowers to put in a cup with water. While I was doing this, Madison caught the exact same fish that she caught before! It was starting to get cold, so we went inside and ate dinner. We then made a campfire and ate smores!
After that we took a shower in the RV and went to bed. I had a good first day in West Virginia.
