It may not suprise some of you to learn that we were rejected from
entering Canada! No problem with passports or visas. Something more
trivial! We had four cases of wine with us worth $1500 and they were
going to charge us 85% tax on that! Stuff that!! We will go and tour
elsewhere.
We spent one night at Logan State Park after being denied entry into Canada and on our way to Glacier National
Park. This was a lovely reserve next to a lake and just off the
highway. The Kids enjoyed riding their bikes and playing horseshoes.
There were quite a few fishermen out on the lake in their boats
trawling.
In the morning we woke to a flat tyre on the caravan.
Bit of a bugger seeing that we didn't have a spare or a wheel brace and
that the nearest town was 45 miles away! Ah Well doesn' matta'! We certainly don't have a 'schedule' to stick to or a plane to catch!
On our way to Glacier National Park we stopped off for some 'world famous huckleberry ice cream.' It was delicious. The huckleberry season was in full force and there were many signs reading "We Buy Huckles".
