After coming to Noosa for our honeymoon, we have been holidaying here on and off for the past 26 years.  Along our travels we have compared many places to Noosa,  loving them all, but Noosa still remains our favourite.
Being able to catch up with Rohan, Jacquie, Tia and Georgie was fantastic. The girls have grown so much. We also met up with their newest addition to the family, Pepper, a miniature Schnauzer, she is a gorgeous little puppy who is much loved.
The weather is beautiful in the day but the nights have been freezing. This required some action so off we went to the shops to purchase PJs and flannelette sheets. Dressing up in the PJs was hilarious. Ray has not worn PJs since he was a teenager, so it was a big event seeing him in his lovely blue stripped outfit, not that my “purrfect” with red smiley cats, hearts and stars were something out of Vogue, but we did not have a great choice. To celebrate the occasion we decided to take a photo using the automatic function. At this point I must say that we have not used this function very often. The camera was set up and I would press the button then run back to Ray, we didn’t have to worry about smiling for the camera as we were in fits of laughter at this stage. Looking at the photo we could not recognise anything. It took a couple of attempts before we,  well OK Ray, worked out that I had set the camera up facing the front of the van instead of at the other end of the van where we were standing and the photos we were seeing was the venetian blind. After a very funny time we finally got our photo. We went off to bed in our new flannelette sheets, PJs and socks, beautiful!!!!
After spending the days strolling along the Noosa River, walking the Noosa National Park, drinking coffee at Aromas in Hasting Street and generally relaxing can you blame us if we are reluctant to move on? We have been here for 9 days and will move down the further down the coast on Sunday.
