Where I stayed
Denham Seaside Tourist Village
We spent the last two nights in Denham, a World Heritage area situated on Shark Bay and the most westerly town in Australia. We love these little coastal places, the parks are easy to find and apart from Lancelin have all been very good.
It was only after we had spent a couple of hours in the water on both days that the significance of the name Shark Bay kicked in. Glad to report we still have all our limbs (and a lot of padding around them too).
Today we were up at 6.30am to go to Monkey Mia to see the dolphins that come inshore to be fed. This was a fantastic experience and certainly worth the trip.
Tomorrow we are not sure where we will end up, possibly Carnarvon.
Can't begin to tell you how great this trip has been so far and how pleased we are that we joined the SKI Club (Spent the Kids Inheritance).
