Where I stayed
Domblegabby Camp site
The views along the Great Australian Bight were magnificant. After spending most of the day going in and out of the Lookouts we finally arrived at our first "free camp" destination. There were about a dozen other campers so we didn't feel too isolated.
We had a little trouble coming to terms with the different times between WA, SA and Victoria especially when we came to Eucla which operates on Central Western Time, 45 minutes ahead of the rest of WA. By time we made camp at Domblegabby camp site we were totall confused. By 6pm we had eaten dinner and were in bed by 7pm as it was already dark. (After talking to other Victorians they said they were in bed at 7pm too.) It had been a long day and we were ready to have a rest to prepare for the final leg of the Nullarbor.
