To prepare for the trip across the Nullarbor we stopped off in Ceduna stock up on supplies. Our Australian natives were prominent in the area and I must admit it was good to be in the car and on our way.
We came across our first road train not long after leaving Ceduna and thus the crossing began. The feeling of actually being on the Nullarbor was quite overwhelming. We stayed at the Nullarbor Roadhouse, we even had a drink in the hotel (cost a fortune) but it was a must do, well so we thought. $17 for 2 drinks!!!!!! There's the budget blown.
