Oct 01- Akureyri, Iceland - I can tell we've left Europe. Iceland, at least what I've seen so far, is more like America than Europe. I always thought the Vikings were here centuries ago, and perhaps there are places where you can see signs of that, but not from where I am, it looks pretty new. Low rolling grassy hills, small town feel (well it is a small town), fall colours in the trees, pretty normal stuff - but - all in another language (and not one you can figure out). I walked around, got some fresh air (feels pretty damn cold), and that was about it.
