yesterday was spent searching out rona. she was leaving for the phillipines for two weeks; it'll be last time i see her in wuhan. her cell phone was turned off so i wasn't sure where she was. i decided to risk it and go to her apt. luckily, she was there. hung out with her for a little bit then went with her to catch the shuttle bus. but we had to get to the ramada hotel first. the rain from the night before had steadily turned to hail. by this time, it was a full-fledged snowstorm. it took us an hour to find a cab willing to drive us the 10 blocks. luckily, he didn't try to overcharge us.

got to the hotel and she was able to immediately the shuttle bus. before she left, she thanked me again for being a good friend and gave me a big hug. i went back out in the blizzard.

there were three cab drivers around but none of them wanted to take me to my apt. the fare wasn't going to be enough. so i wanted for another hour before a cab would stop. *sigh* i really hate cabbies.

about two hours later, i was out in the snow again. jerome was done with work. called me and told me to meet him at kfc. got there and he said that he turned in his notice. BUT tracy started crying. so he said he was going to think about it and tell her on fri. told him that i'll treat him to dinner on fri. and he can't go to work on sat. to rechange his mind. he laughed and said that i know him too well.
