i'm going to cry. i accidentally deleted all the pics i took today of kl from my memory card. i was messing around with my computer and accidentally deleted them. what happened was i plugged my stick into my computer. waited for it to prompt; it never did. then thought that i could just copy the pics into picasa. then when i deleted them from the memory stick. they flew out of picasa too. don't know why i didn't just try one folder. but i didn't; i deleted both. so all the funny pictures i took today are all gone. the globe ones come to mind. the pictures of all the funny signs i took also come to mind. and none of this makes any sense to anyone since y'all will never see these pics. goddammit!!!

it just sucks. and it kinda hurts since those were once-in-a-lifetime experience. but that's what i get for being too rash, i guess. i just really hate the fact that i'm always getting these types of punishments. why isn't there a copy saved onto my computer somewhere??? does anyone know anything about picasa, that google software? anyone?

but today before this wasn't bad. we had bought a bus ticket yesterday to see kl. it's one of those hop-on, hop-off kinda buses so you get 24 hours to really see the sites. i've done in a couple of cities and i thought it was pretty easy and convenient. since we were pretty tired yesterday, we ended up doing most of it today. saw the national mosque which wasn't very nice at all. modern and sleek, it was basically characterless. there was an old mosque right next to it that interested us more.

it was there that i had to use the bathroom. in most of kl, you have to pay to use one. unfortunately, this doesn't ensure that it'll be clean. luckily, this one was. and it had everything i needed! toilet paper and a rubber band for my hair. and since i'm not muslim, i didn't need to take off my shoes to use it. when i came out and told glenn all this, he laughed and said, " you don't ask much in life, do you?" well, honestly, what more do you really need from a bathroom?
