first, she broke down my class by the different activities i did. talked about my opener and suggested a more active game. since the kids will have been running around before the class, she thought the flying to america game will be better for them. besides, in helen doron training, they teach that you're supposed to fly them to a different english-speaking country to start class. (here i was thinking that it was harry's doing.) we talked and i thought that since i only speak american, it'll better if i only fly them to america.
overall our conversation lasted about an hour. at the end of it, she assured me that i have her support. she knows that some of the parents were in love in harry, but she said that's only because he was their first teacher. she said she's sure that if i was the first, then the kids and parents would be hating on him. she said she hopes i'm not discouraged by what's going on and said that soon the kids will be lining up the instructor's office to talk and play with me. also hinted at the kids being really sad when i leave. i smiled because i've already been told of this trick. sorry tracy (and bob) but i'm not staying in wuhan just because after a month of being here, you're deciding to throw me a bone. there's no way i'm staying in wuhan for longer than three mths. and yes, that is my final answer.
