In the morning I wished we'd be able to go all the way to Hanoi, after all it's possible - the buses do that. But then, when we hit the road I understand that it's not going to be fun - the road still sucks big time, probably the most of the traffic to Hanoi goes with a train. On the other hand the scenery is still rather nice.
The lens of my camera catches the fog and as I try to clean it the situation is getting even worse. I manage to clean the mess only in a few hours, when it's getting significantly warmer outside.
In the evening we stop by some small village, it's nice here. The villagers use some special sort of the palm tree branches - which look like crocodile jaws - to build the fences. These work even on the psychological level! :) It's a harvest time and all the villagers are working on paddies, which are dark green and yellowish.
There is another group of tourists staying at our house. They ride heavy bikes for 5 days around Hanoi. Their trip is not cheap at all - some $600, "all included". The folks are from Germany, the States and Australia. We talk about the politics a little. All are agree that Israel made a hude mistake with these boats.
The dinner is nice too - the landlord brings out a Coke bottle full of the local chacha - it's made of rice here. When it was finished.
