Today started early with a Wildflower Walk through the woods and around Josephine Lake. The hike was led by ranger Ginny West and she was nice and had a lot of information about flowers in the Park, animals and stuff like that. We saw 59 different wildflowers and my Mom was really happy. The hike was kind of long (3 hours) but worth it because the weather was clear and warm so it felt good to be outside. We were pretty pooped out afterwards and after a picnic lunch, we headed back to the hotel to rest and relax.

Mom and I started playing UNO and ended up with a marathon session that lasted until dinner time. I won most of the games but Mom got in a few good wins too. We're getting kind of addicted to UNO.

Dinner was at the Italian Garden Ristorante at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, which is just a few minutes drive from the Hotel. We had pizza and salad and it was really good.

Mom and I went to hear the ranger talk about wolverines in the Park. Dad stayed in the room because he is starting to get a cold. The ranger was interesting and I learned things about wolverines and other weasels. Sometimes wolverines are such fast hunters that they can catch a porcupine without getting poked by a quill. There were other facts that are kind of gross.
