I drove into a stifling hot Murray Bridge just after lunch and proceeded to look for caravan, camping shops or anyone who may sell solar panels. This was a fruitless effort as nobody sold what I was looking for so, I went to the local shopping centre to find a Telstra store as my phone wasn't working, the assistant was baffled as to why I couldn't receive Internet connections and their Internet hook-up was down, therefore he couldn't check my account either. So while he played around with my phone I said I would do some shopping. I took my supplies back to the van and checked on the dogs as it was suffocatingly hot outside, it was even hotter inside the van with not a breath of air flowing through the open vents to help ease the heat.

As they were fine and still had plenty of water I made my way back to the Telstra shop.

Yeah! He had found the problem and I was back in cyber age.

Time to move on and find a spot for the night.

Murray Bridge is in the traditional lands of the Ngarrindjeri people, who refer to Murray Bridge as "Pomberuk". The first European explorer was Charles Sturt who camped there on 8 February 1830.The first road bridge across the lower Murray was completed at Murray Bridge in 1879. The bridge also became a shared road and rail bridge in 1886 until the separate rail bridge was completed in 1925. The bridge was designed for 1,067 mm (3 ft 6 in) though in actuality, only 1,600 mm (5 ft 3 in) trains ever used it.In 1979 the Swanport Bridge, carrying the South Eastern Freeway across the Murray River was completed 5 kilometres (3 ml) downstream, removing most through traffic from the historic Murray Bridge
