Interesting day travelling along the freeway...for the
moment all is 'good' with the van; considering I have replaced most of it...I'm
not surprised :-(
The only thing still not working (on gas) is the fridge and
12 volt doesn't keep it cold enough so, I have gone back to the good old days
of ICE, which I keep in a bucket...bit of a nuisance but better that, than
having the food and milk going off
I'm sitting in a caravan park tonight at Calen, as I drove
for hours looking for the FREE parks only to find ONE was a 'rest only'...
therefore; no camping and the other...not sure where they hid it.
I had no intentions of by passing Mackay but with all the
traffic and confusion found myself heading towards Proserpine and there before
me was another glorious sunset, hastily before it had disappeared, I stopped,
and to my surprise saw a flock of birds in the hue of the lit sky.
