Waking up in a new city is always exciting but to look out the window and see light snow flakes falling is sheer delight... no snow cover on the ground yet but with temps of -4 to 1 degree there is a good chance it be white later..

Alas or maybe luckily for us Mother Nature did not have that in mind for Prague today.. Lady Luck had other plans.. after a great local breakfast, a tour "car" nearby was to be our next adventure. This company "Eco Green Tours" run small electric"cars" seating up to 5 passengers for commentated tours of Prague. Seemed like a good idea at the time and it was... being driven past many historic, influential, famous places , buildings etc with information narrated. With a choice of side curtains up or down and a warm blanket over the knees , it was a leisurely way to see the sights..golf buggy speed..no greater!!
from the Old Town ,it traversed  a district of beautiful Baroque palaces, lovely gardens, picturesque houses, narrow streets, alleys and old churches..  Charles Bridge,( the famous footbridge) Market Squares, John Lennon wall ( originating as written tributes to the famous man but has now become a written wall on many agendas), Maltese monastery, lovers bridge( with all it's locked padlocks), National Theatre,Parliament house, Defence, etc etc and of course view points of the wonderful Vltava River.
The "high " light was the view from the Prague Castle of the city below and some of the actual Castle itself.. a full guided tour is required to see it properly..
it was a fantastic way to see some of this huge city... enough to entice one to return for a "proper" Prague experience.

As nightfall loomed quickly.. dark by 4:30pm.. and still no snowfall..or rain..it was an opportunity for some of the "magic blue "shots.. just before dark, in the twilight ... and Prague did not disappoint again..

Lady Luck also smiled on a choice of live show for our last night here..
A brilliant Company called "Black Light Theatre".a theatrical performance style with the use of black curtains, a darkened stage, and "black lighting" (UV light), paired with fluorescent costumes in order to create intricate visual illusions..The technique, paired with the expressive artistry of dance, mime and acrobatics of the performers enables them to create a fantasy illusion. Tonight's performance is based on "Afrikana" so the use of Zebras,Lions, butterflies mixed with a live story line is incredibly funny and brilliant.. There are nine theatres in Prague at the moment so many themes and shows are available. A wonderful Farewell Performance from Prague for us to add to the hundreds of memories gathered in our two days here...
