As we began our second day of shooting, the weather was a bit better, but it was still pretty chilly this morning.  At least the wind had died down for our first shot by the Tremalee shrimp boat at Mary Ross Park.  It was interesting trying to get the boat to stay in place, while getting "Tennessee" - the unofficial captain and our special guest of the day - to stay standing on the railing. It was amazing he listened to his master Diane as she directed him to 'look at the pretty lady and smile"!  You can see him on the boat peaking over the railing - it's funny how this pup had our entire crew oogling over him...

We then headed down the pier to Knight's Seafood to take some great shots next to the boats.  Unfortunately, the sun did not cooperate and we had to change some of our locations.  We ended up heading downtown near the G Street Cottages after we were done at the docks.  We caused quite the scene seeing as how we had to close down the street for the shoot.  Many spectators joined us and we certainly enjoyed some great conversations with the local residents.

We were unable to shoot at the Old Courthouse due to the lack of sun, so we had to improvise and shoot at the Greyhound Bus Station.  We were able to snap those shots quickly, and move to the Kayak Marsh.  Our last shot of the day was at a historic home on Richmond Street.

We  have to give a little shout out to two amazing restaurants in the area.  "Brewburgers" on New Castle St. has the most amazing shrimp and grits - it was a little piece of heaven!  And tonight a few of us were able to dine at "Iguana's" on St. Simmon's Island - they truly have the most amazing deep fried shrimp.  Seeing as how we are in the shrimp capital - we have to take advantage of it!

Thank you to all of the residents and businesses in Brunswick, St. Simmon's Island and Jekyll Island for your hospitality - it has truly been a great Small Town Experience!  Tomorrow is a travel day for us as we start heading for Gulf Shores, Alabama. We are hoping that we have safe travels and that the sun will grace us with it's presence!
