Day 2 in Christmas, MI

We began the day at the Christmas Mall trying to capture the festive spirit coupled with a mix of our upcoming fashion under clear skies and temperatures in the 60's.  Alice and Marquita both took shots at this location with some great dark wash jeggings on.  Alice's shot was under the marquee of the mall and she put a long sleeve burnout tee under a cozy grape wine colored sweater and slouchy knit hat.  As you can see by the pictures, in order to get the right shot, we had to give her a little boost up off the ground.

When it was Marquita's turn to get in front of the lens she not only had the photography crew looking on but also Mrs. Claus looking over her back shoulder.  To compliment the Vigoss jeggings she wore a shimmery, lavender, medallion, v neck top, scarf and sultry boots.

It was then off to the Vixen's Inn off of Reindeer Run Rd. A small vacation home with awesome green trim and sharp red siding.  The clouds rolled into the area a bit but when the sun finally showed through we got a shot that we absolutely loved with Alice in a knit top with lace details, Silver Pioneer jeans, multicolored scarf, convertible gloves and to top it off, some back zip riding boots!  The Vixen's Inn exterior worked perfectly with the fashion to give us just the look we hoped to capture.

At our next location, the range tower, where we were unable to get a shot yesterday due to poor weather we get the shot today and were joined by Noel McLaren from TV6 in Marquette, MI.  It was ironic to us that her first name fit so well with the holiday theme shoot.  You can't make this stuff up!  Noel was great and we really appreciated her stopping by and being a part of the shoot.  We were fortunate to get the shot that had avoided us yesterday at the sleek green door on the range tower and it was off to the Christmas Motel.

The Christmas Motel sign resembled a gift package.  It was incredibly cute with some small neon bulbs and putting Alice in a floral button front woven top, a Rosette trim cardi vest and Silver Frances jeans gave a fun, edgy look to a classic holiday feel.  Noel joined us at this location as well and got some great footage that will be aired on tonight's newscast in Marquette and the surrounding area.

On to our last location of the day with three shots remaining we stopped at Santa's Workshop.  Owner Sharon Tesch was extremely welcoming and showed us the worlds largest Santa Claus, standing about 30 feet high.  He had a fresh coat of paint and was looking jolly as ever.  Sharon purchased Santa's Workshop 7 years ago and turned it into a charming holiday gift shop with everything from trees, ornaments, wreaths to nutcrackers and she simply a delight to talk with.  Both Alice and Marquita took stunning shots in front of Santa.  Alice with coffee bean pants, a screen lace trim cami and a hooded button front sweater and Marquita in a darling, white, knit hat, plaid button down shirt, light denim and some trendy suede fur lined boots.

The final shot was with Frosty the Snowman and once again Alice looked captivating in a contemporary flannel henley and dark sandblast denim with a white beanie hat.  We enjoyed our time in Christmas and can't thank the people who made this successful shoot possible enough.  Check out the photo album and let us know what you think about the fashion that will be rolling out in just a couple of months!
