On the way back to South Bali our schedule was packed!!
We went to see a great waterfall where we though we thought we were going to swim but once we saw the size and the temperature of the water we quickly changed our mind!!! Bali is definetely mountaineous and therefore waterfall can be quite high!!
In this part of the island we saw completely different agriculture: cloves, coco, coffee... I thought that it smelled very nice and you were yet transported in a different world
We went to see a Bouddist temple. For a country where most of the people are hindous it was quite strange and in the end not so impressive... but there was a nice view from the top...
We carried on driving around the mountains and some big lake to arrive at a very pretty lake temple were once again there was a ceremony.
That day we decided to stop by on the side of the road and just have fruits for lunch... it was an interesting choice thanks to the wide variety of fruits we found!! Some were a bit strange in taste....The most strange for me was the jack fruit, even after 3 month in Malaysia where they love it fried....
We also drove around the countryside surrounded by paddy fields through tiny little roads where our little Suzuki survived!!! it was sooo peaceful and we met no tourists!!! No words can explain how it was...
We finished our trip at Tanah Lot ofr the sunset which we managed to make on time for one of the first time!!! The view of this temple on a rock at sunset were pretty good for a last sight in Bali!!!
We obviously went clubbing in Kuta that night too before heading back to KL but that goes without saying... Back to civilization!!!
