The plaza de armas was first stop
A few hundred metres up the road we encountered this super sketchy looking guy, who had a monkey dressed up like Santa clause. Mono, cinco soles! I get to hold a monkey for the equivalent of $1.50? Done. This thing probably had rabies but it was the coolest thing ever. Lima is beautiful, it is really modern in parts but parts are really old and pretty. We went out for dinner back at the Larcomar at a new restaurant which was nice, then went to watch Quien son Los millers? (Who are the millers). The movie was in English with terribly translated Spanish subtitles so the jokes didn't really translate... The movie was made 20x more funny when we were wetting our pants to jokes that not one other person in the cinema understood. Oh the joys of being a natural English speaker in western culture. After nearly pissing my pants about 100 times we caught a taxi back and went to bed
