I was recomended Montanita (means little mountain) as a great little beach place with the best surf in Ecuador and a good party...oh my god i wasnt disappointed!.. as soon as i got there i bumped into a south african girl i met in mexico and the recomended a great little hostal.. where for once i had a private room as it wasnt anymore expensive.

Luckily my two dutch girl mates arrived the next day aswell.. so it was straight into fun with them and others at our hostal. The atmosphere in Montanita is really friendly, and laid back and all are up for a laugh. I hadnt been body boarding for over 10 years and now i know why.. i got trashed in tiny surf! lol

I met some great local people, It was a real shame to leave this place but i had to make my way to Peru for my Inca trail.. plus i may have died if i stayed longer LOL
