The tourist gem that is Granada.  Different from the rest of the country in many ways.  Probably due to the fact that ex-pats own a good chunk of the central colonial homes.  Besides this we had the opportunity to see the oldest city in Latin America along with Lake Nicaragua.

Not too many activities except for one... canopy tour!  For this excursion we were taken out to the east side of Volcan Mombacho.  A very bumpy ride.  We definitely used all of that Landcruiser's suspension travel.  Our travel companions were a couple from San Francisco and a CFO who takes his son on an adventure tour evey summer.

We were greeted by howler monkeys and got to glide between the trees in the cloud forest.  At the end we got to repel down 18m.  They just dropped us off the end of platform and didn't slow us down until we almost hit the ground.  Nicole gave a little yelp when she was caught by surprise with the quick drop.

ALl in all a good experience but ready to get going home.  To my Oral-B.  My teeth feel so fuzzy all the time.
