Oprah is in town this Sunday in Columbia, South Carolina. When she is in town, mayhem ensues. Yesterday, as many of you may have heard, our campaign had to move the event from a 19,000 seat venue to USC-Columbia's Williams-Brice Stadium, an 80,000 person football stadium. The reaction has been overwhelming, and the media is getting every last bit of the Oprah Mania. Below are links to articles hilighting what we are doing here in SC:

This event is going to have lots of unprecedented moving parts that have never been attempted or if they have, not to the extent that we will be attempting. It is being reported in The State newspaper (shown above), that if pulled off correctly, this will be the largest political rally attempted since Dwight D. Eisenhower's visit to Columbia in 1952.
Excitement is in the air, and our regional offices are being pushed to their limits. The next three days are going to be intense, but will pay off in the end as many of you will be seeing reports from this event on the evening news this Sunday night.
With that, I must get back to work. Much love,
ML

Hi Matt
This is your great Aunt Nancy in Montana! I heard all about you when we visited the family last month. Everyone is so proud of you - excited about your committment and we all wish you the best! This coming Sunday will be a real test for Obama's campaign and how fortunate you are to be right there on the 'front line!' I am delighted to be able to follow along. Much love from someone you hardly know but who knows a lot about you! Aunt Nancy
