After a v.long 48 hr journey we finally made it to Ko Samui! Hurray! The journey included an overnight train to Bangkok, a 12 hr wait there then an 11 hr bus to the South, a 3 hr wait in the blazing sun, an hours drive in the back of a truck, 2 hrs on a boiling hot ferry n an hr in a taxi to our beach huts! Luckily its well worth it, the beach is beautiful n its nice to be out of the city n in a place we can just sunbathe. Watched the sun go down tonight whilst drinking cocktails n listening to Jack Johnson - its a hard life!
It's really hot here, it was cloudy this aft but we still managed to get a bit burnt, especially Matt who's lookin a bit like rudolph at the mo! It's my birthday tomorrow so we're hiring a motorbike to do our own tour of the island n then hopefully go where all the bars are for drinks tomorrow night. Just wish everyone was here to party with us.
