Franschhoek:
*Fancy lunch at Haute Cabriere, three course meal next to a fireplace inside a cave at the winery. This restaurant is ranked one of the top 100 in the world and our whole set meal was only $10 per person!
Stellenbosch:
*The mountains bordering Stellenbosch reminded us of Utah combo'd with Napa vineyards below them, it is a beautiful place.
*Unbelievable cheesecake with raspberry sauce at Hillcrest which is located between these two towns. Don't miss it if you ever visit here, we are still thinking about how good it was.
*Zorgvliet Winery: amazing views on their huge property.
Paarl:
*Boland Kelder Cellars: amazing bottle of Cabrenet Sauvignon/Merlot blend that was only 22 Rand per bottle = $3!!! We ended up buying a lot of wine here, too bad it isn't sold in America.
