We headed out to the beach to relax a little bit.....okay, relax a lot! We got a recommendation to go to Panglao Island, south of Tagbilaran City on Bohol Island. It had a beautiful white sand beach and many dive spots a short boat ride away.

Peter's House was our home for four days. Our two room bedroom had open air walls with the ocean right outside the window. The hot nights were wonderful with the breeze going through the room each day...and it was only $12 a night!

We went diving one day on a reef wall 30 minutes offshore. We had heard it was great diving, but we weren't that impressed. I (Amy) had some issues clearing my ear on the dive, so that added to the less than stellar dive. We enjoyed ourselves more the following day when we paid a few dollars to spend the day at this fancy resort down the beach from our place. We spent around 8 hours in the pool and took a break from swimming to get a $4.50 hour-long massage on the beach outside the pool. Topped off the night with $.90 beers and BBQ chicken skewers on the beach with our toes in the sand.

Overall it was a relaxing few days! Photos to come once we get a faster internet connection.
