Long drive today, about 9 hours. I'm 3 hours earlier than you now. It's actually starting to feel like I am getting somewhere, entered Washington and tomorrow is Seattle where the trip actually begins. Scenic drive today, more mountains and interesting land. Briefly went through Idaho, probably the only time I'll ever say that. My hotel was basically on Gonzaga's campus so I had to check it out. Very nice, a lot nicer than I expected. Shouldn't have expected anything different from a small private school. I didn't realize how religious the school is. Everywhere I turned there was some religious symbol or building. Interesting looking buildings and dorms. Really clean. There were also a ton of scenic bikeways and paths everywhere on campus and throughout the town, I could get used to running by the lake everyday. Maybe that's why there are less fat people here. The air even felt cleaner. I didn't know they had a law school either but apparently it was established in 1912. I guess the zags have more than just a good bball team.
