We live in the Nest building only about 5 blocks down the main strip from our school. It's a 7 minute stroll to work, not bad eh?
But are you jealous yet? Our cute little room starts with an alcove to leave your shoes before you head down the heated hard wood floor hallway, bathroom to your right if you are in need of a pit stop. Wooden floors open up to a large room with high ceiling and a large window which almost encompasses the entire back wall. Modern faux leather furniture creates a homey circle for our communal room where we eat/ relax and have our own desks on opposite sides. When living in these close quarters we each need a corner of our own to mess up and dress up to our own liking.
But where do you sleep you ask? Well just look up and you see a glass railing which holds behind it our little nook for catching zzz. And Below that our teenie kitchen and full fridge/ freezer.
Not a lot of space, but just perfect for a get-away for two! Visitors are always welcome, ring the door bell and we can see you through our state of the art door bell complete with camera and microphone to check out and talk to the person at your door from the comfort and safety of the living room! Neato eh?
