Day 9 - Gdansk, Poland (Chanting football fans)

Took the bus 14 miles from Gdynia, where the ship was docked, to Gdansk. Lots of varied and attractive buildings along the river. Had 5 hours - more than enough! Gdansk is obviously a popular holiday spot for Poles, as there were lots of them, including a ship full of chanting football fans that kept everyone entertained. Had a pizza each for lunch, which cost half what the same would cost in Edinburgh or most European capitals. The Highland and Green Gates were very pretty. Lots of shops and stalls selling amber jewellery. Had a quick stop at the Solidarity Square on our way back to the ship.
