This place is wet. Not just the rain (the name rainforest may offer hints), but the waterfalls. Another clue in the name. And when people offering boat rides say that they go under the falls, they do go under. No faffing around going just by them. Oh no. Jeans not recommended wear. Unless you like spending the rest of the day wandering round in wet denim. Hmmm. Squelchy,
Very impressive, though. Big waterfalls normally are, but these are special. The sheer power at the Garganta Del Diablo has to be seen.
There are also some cats. Apparently big ones in the park, although we didn't see any (just monkeys, guinea pigs and various birds), and small domestic ones, wandering around the town. So something for everyone, really.
Oh look - photos. Dating back to Lima... although, given the incredibly slow connection on this pc, quite possibly not...
