So I blew this travel write up. Here is a late wrap up/
I made it to Camp Blanding. Had to get a homeland security background check done in advance to get onto the National Guard base. When I rolled up I expected a post 9/11 cement barriers & M16's type of greeting when I arrived but no. One security guard, checked my name & ID & that was that. No dogs. No mirrors under the truck etc. I got there it it was getting cold and colder. Wind was kicking too. We were lake side so the lake affect was in effect. Went n set up next to the Airheads tent in the camping area. I avoided the regular vendor area but Saturday I went n set up inside the meeting haul where there were a bunch of other vendors set up. I sold some stuff by day & we stayed up late at night. I had this wierd idea that at any moment some Green berets were going to pop out of the ground & garrot us;o) The weather wasnt perfect but we had a shitload of fun. I highly recommend this rally. Not many RV's or trailer's at this rally. Crappy weather or not. This is a riders rally I'm happy to report. Lots of tent campers.Real ralliers:o)
Sunday morning I broke camp with the help of my pal's in the Airheads Beemer Club. I rolled out of camp by noon & was home that night. An effortless ride to say the least. The rally truck was a safe haven from the weather at the rally. It rained like hell twice. My easy up AND the BMW Riders of NE FL  club coffee tent got crunched saturday night during dinner. Some of my stuff got wet but I survived. My rally truck kicks ass. I made it home in time for dinner. Sunday night & all was well with the world.
Up next is Daytona Bikeweek.
See you on the road.
