I climb into the truck & its not nearly as cold as I though it would be. I roll away from the house & jump on US129 headed south. I pass through Macon before rush hour & hop on I75S for the long shot to Valdosta, GA. The sun comes up & its clear as a bell outside. I do the roadside reminder with the Dept of Agriculture & then its an effortless ride through Starke and into Camp Blanding.
