Where I stayed
We meet Sarah's relatives in Hobart, Fran and Leo. They take us up mount Wellington to see a great panoramic view of the city and beyond. We also have a barbecue at their home, which is practically on Taroona bay, a beautiful beach area. We have a walk along the bay and talk to some snorkelers fishing for cray fish there. Fran and Leo were perfect hosts and it’s sad to say goodbye to them. In Hobart we also look around the great Salamanca market and enjoy a few beers and fish and chips near the sea front. Hobart isn’t the liveliest of places but is pretty and has great surroundings.
