I would advise not to go for a haircut in Vang Vieng. The lady starts hacking away at my hair with a scissors so I decide it's safer to have a grade 3 skin head. I look like a pratt but better than I would have done otherwise.

Tubing is the main activity in Vang Vieng - taking an inner tube down the river with karst peaks and bars selling cheap alcohol and other stuff lining the sides of the river. We have a great day tubing - without drinking too much when we're on the river anyway. That night we meet with a few people we went tubing with and have met on our journey for a few drinks. Two very strong buckets later and it's bed time. While Ser has a lazy day I also enjoy a day cycling to the blue lagoon and Phoukam caves. The sun's strong and the scenery is beautful, great for a bike ride.
