We arrived at our hotel at about 8:30 am to find the street in front of it blocked off for Art Deco. Artists booths and vendors were set up all down the street. Nothing was open yet so we checked our bags in at the hotel (since our room would not be ready until 3) and took a walk on the beach.
When we returned to the hotel classic cars and vintage bikes lined the street. My favorite was the "Back to the Future" car and Marty's was a vintage Ducati.
There were also a lot of street performers. Some playing drums, an escape artist and fire eaters / juglers.
The booths were amazing, paintings, photography, jewlery, etc.
There was a lot of food available that we were not to familiar with. I wanted marty to try the alligator but he said he did not feel like it. LOL he got a Gyro and I had a Fruit Crepe.
Every hotel has a place to eat w/ a bar and from about 1pm it was 2 for 1 happy hour every where.
After relaxing at the hotel for a bit we venture out for dinner, the streets still packed we head to an Italian place we spotted earlier. Live bands are playing now, neon lights on, and the bars are full of action. Soon its back to the hotel, we have an early and long day ahead tomorrow traveling home. Can't wait to see my kids and give them a big squeeze.

Glad the hotel worked out. I was probably 3/4 asleep when I was searching the internet and booking it for you last week. The sign is cool!
