Leaving Denver was in a much larger 757 plane. We watched the in flight movie "You Again" that made the 3 hour flight pass a lot more quickly.
It was interesting watching the land below from Denver to Florida. Lands near Denver had small amounts of snow, and were mostly agricultural. You could almost count the section lines neatly plotted. The land color was a stong brown color near Denver and ever slow changed to green. Water supplies also increased over the trip from one extreme to the other. Near Denver there was what appears to be calculated contouring of fields to capture the scarce water...then Florida with it's massive undevloped marsh. Quite a bit of marsh lands in the central and western part of Florida are almost untouched with what appears to be swamp boat trails. The coastal areas of Florida also were populates with islands throughout..some of which were not connected by bridges(boat travel only).
We arrived in sunny Florida at 3:30 EST, it was 76 and wonderful!! It was actually a bit of a shock, but there was a nice breeze. Really beautiful sun and palm trees everywhere.
