We left Paris this morning on the high speed train which went 186 mph! I bought the international newspaper to read about Romney and the 47% videos (thanks to all my politically active blog readers , we watched the videos last night on utube!), but read about my Pats in the sports section! Hernandez hurt? Omg! We arrived in Brussels and our room was not ready. We left to explore the city, found the historic area, and had some lunch outside. It was a very a pretty setting, and I had the same lunch I had most days: Croque Monsieur - Grilled cheese and ham on bread. And each one has been different! And we each had huge beers! We did some shopping for a coworker of bob's who wanted some special chocolates for her daughter, had to go to many shops to find it! We returned to be given the worst room in the hotel and without a/c. We waited a long time for the new room, and actually are still at the lounge waiting for it. I am disappointed in the expensive hotel that bob's conference is at. And to be honest, Brussels is not that great. Better places to see than the beer capital. Though we are trying to sample as many different kinds as we can! success in that!!!

Last night, we had something to eat at a bistro up the street and watched Paris play Kiev in soccer. Enjoyed the locals watching the slow game! Then we went for a walk and ran into the restaurant Breakfast in America. I had read about it in a tour book, saying it was owned by a guy from Connecticut. So I dragged bob in and had an Obama shake -- that's what it was called --- peanut butter and chocolate! Enjoyed it while gazing at the Obama 2008 sign! Bob had cheese fries and a Sam Adams .

This is a short entry because basically Brussels is kind of dull except for the chocolate and beer! Next blog entry will be our closing thoughts, but will leave you with a tidbit - I tried to make several citizens arrest with the many women wearing white pants, come on, it's well after Labor Day! But being rebuffed wondered if this is another great American rule!

Are you buying those items for someone of the 47%? Stop handing them what they want and make them work for it! Don't you know that 47% of Americans feel ENTITLED and OBLIGATED to anything and everything they have ever wanted? Why do you even care for the 47%, you're never going to win their praises. People are so dependent on Government and people feel that they are victims so they demand people like you to get them what they want. We will never convince them to take care of themselves because the 47% is lazy.

Just be like me. I am not lazy; I have a full-time job of spending money, dating younger women, hosting a TV show that has less than best ratings, and coloring my hair so people don't think I am bald even though the light color makes it worse.

You both look great! Pretty city. Pat and I went to Frozen Custard to celebrate surviving the past few days without supervision! I had pecan praline and Pat has ... surprise ... vanilla! We have your flight (UA 951) ready in our flight track app and we wish you safe travels! Good luck Dad in Brussels by yourself - hope the meetings go by quickly!

Grilled Ham and Cheese - loved it and glad you did as well. Best lunch!!! WHITE PANTS IN SEPTEMBER?? How unfashionable! Yes, to bring you up to speed, Hernandez went out in the 1st quarter - high ankel sprain and will be out for about 4 weeks. Deon Branch is back in d'house!! They signed him this week. Lots of Welker talk about him being replaced by Edelman. Soap opera. Tough game Sunday night in Baltimore.
So happy you had a good time in Paris - no rude parisians making you speak french!! The pictures were awesome, especially Bob's gigantic beers in Belguim - talk to you on your return!!
