What a beautiful part of the world this is. One of the nicest I've been to. We chugged slowly passed towering mountains of all shapes and sizes dissappearing into the still deep water, reflections, mistiness which added to the beauty and created layers of mountain ranges and shapes in green to blue to grey to white tones. We stopped at a fish farm and saw lots of wierd and wonderful fish and crabs, lobsters etc all swimming around in little enclosures. The helmet crabs were the wiedest. Bought some huge prawns, which looked like cray fish to add to the 8 course dinner they cooked us that night. Food here has been brilliant, very fresh and nutritious, I've been eating alot of sea food, we had a barracouta on the boat.

More crew than us lot, Mr Long the captain, and we had our own cabin all very nice. The boat made of beautiful wood, all polished inside and a top deck to sit on. Felt like royalty and indeed I had to keep pinching myself to see if this was real.

IN the arvo we stopped off and climbed up to a cave, the biggest I've seen, huge chambers and huge stalacmites and tites. Very dry inside no glistening walls but they say in the rainy season this happens.

The 4 of us are getting along well together and that night after our huge meal, we had some rice wine with the crew, and sat up on deck seeing all the other boats around us sending shimmers of coloured lights into the water. Cold enough to have my windjacket on.
