Off to the zoo where the key attractions were the polar bear feeding and the pandas on loan from China but the whole zoo is excellent and we can recommend it. The day was overcast but warm and the zoo was empty.

The feeding of the polar bears was amazing as you are inside and can see the pool from underwater as they are thrown fish. It came at a good time as it was raining during the feeding session.

Afterwards we headed back to Beale Street whereupon the heavens opened and we hid out in a resturant taking a pulled pork sandwich before a short dash around town including the excellent Peabody Hotel. It was rainy and we headed back to the hotel and TV before another rather uninteresting meal in Applebys next to the hotel.
