MJ read the local paper which is very good and then did a few minutes in the gym before heading downtown to find they are putting parking meters in the free carpark!!

We took a walk around town and wandered into an old hotel at the end of the street for some faded glory before heading for the hot springs bath house where for $50 we got the full works. This involved 10 minutes in a hot springs bath with a loofah scrub down, 5 mins in a back bath followed by 5 mins in a needle shower. Finally there is a 10 minute massage. Overall it was a good experience and worth the $50.

We'd spotted a Brau Haus further down the street which we walked down to where MJ imbibed 2 pints of Munich Spatan beer - lovely. We had a good chat with the excellent barman.

Evening meal was a pizza in our room watching Premonition with Sandra Bullock which was watchable.
