Fantastic nights sleep in wonderful hotel...good breakfast and then some laundry plus newspaper reading. It was hot as we left for the downtown bath houses which are now a National Parks Site. There are about 6 bath houses in varying degrees of renovation - they were originally built in early 1900s. We took a walk around the Fordyce which is owned by the National Parks - it looks something like present day NHS hospital (only joking - but it has a 1950s feel). It was basically a place to come to relax - a mixture of consumption clinic and expensive country club. The place has a real old hospital feel coupled with London club - really worth a detour (we reckon they don't get many Europeans here based on the visitors book).

We found an ok place for lunch in the Brick House Café and then went on the pinnacle of the MJ's Clinton tour (so far) - a tour of Bill's childhood homes - fantastic.

A combination of a large beer and 105F heat bought us back to the hotel and a snooze plus some reading time. Around 6pm we headed for the dock to feed the turtles (and as it turns out many fish).

Evening meal in Fisherman's Wharf just down the road from the hotel - they have an outside deck overlooking the lake.
