We just arrived in Rockland and are waiting for the 6 guests to arrive. The past week has been a lot of fun, and not too much work. The rest was needed for the 10 days ahead.

Last week I got the boat ready for the next "H-show", which didn't take too long. Thursday and Friday were very chilled work days. I made my first payment towards my debt, yay! one more step closer to my treehouse. We had a safety drill, one of my least favourite experiences on Islandia, felt like I was in the navy.

Thursday my early birthday prezzie from Mom and Han arrived, a MacBook Pro :) Sooo extremely happy and excited! Typing this blog entry is even so much more enjoyable. That night we went to Francine, a beautiful fine dining restaurant where I had lovely roast chicken mmm. Andy and I decided to go to Cuzzy's for karaoke night, once again a real fun evening. We had post-drinks on Appledore and went to Denny's for take-away (that's a first).

It was the Windjammer (Schooner) festival in Camden this weekend so there was a lot of activities going on in town, and a lot of human traffic. Friday night we watched a firework show, prime spot from the boat. It was magical! We went to Cuzzy's on Friday and Saturday evening, good times were had by all ;) Saturday afternoon we watched a live band at the Waterfront which was great fun. Sunday I only woke up at 1pm, after being dropped back at the boat on a rowing boat... What a sight that must have been. I had a lovely chilled afternoon, reading and watching movies. Monday was a gloomy, rainy day so I grabbed the opportunity to read the entire Labour Day holiday.

Tuesday was of course a busy day, last minute detailing, provisioning (take a look at the photo) and organizing. Andy and I went ashore to say bye to Irwin and have our last drink at Cuzzy's and meal at the Waterfront. Quite strange to say goodbye to a place that has been our home for quite some time.

The mystery awaits...Where will our next stop be?
