Some folks may be wondering:
Would we ever take a motor home vacation again? Yes - we loved this!
Would we go on another month long vacation? Yes!
What we enjoyed:
Spending 30 days together :)
The freedom of the road which let us explore parts of the U.S. we had never experienced.
Watching the terrain change as we drove from state to state.
The ability to change travel plans at the drop of a hat.
Pulling over at a rest stop for an impromptu lunch in our condo on wheels.
Having the CRV which enabled us to take side trips everywhere we went.
Watching Roxie experience vacation through her nose :)
Meeting the park hosts and our motor home neighbors - everyone waves at each other!
Hopefully getting a few good photos we can frame and hang at home
A two week vacation with our friends Pam and Bill
What we didn't enjoy:
The camera lens dying on us right before we got to Grand Teton, then again at the end of the trip.
Motor home parks that were gravel and dirt only.
Traffic noise at night - many parks are off a major highway, near a train track or an airport
20 mph speed limits in Oregon Coast towns
Drivers seeing a sign that reads "End 40 mph Zone", and actually slowing down to 30 mph!
We had an amazing 30 day adventure. Although we are happy to be home we will certainly miss our condo on wheels. Thank you all for following us. We hope you enjoyed our blog as much as we did.
