We decided to leave Yellowstone a day early.  Figured we had completed both loops of the park and had seen everything we wanted to see, and today was going to be a down day because we were all so tired, so we packed up and hit the road for Montana.  Besides, the RV park in Yellowstone was less than inviting with no trees, no picnic tables, no room to set up the mosquito-free zone tent and LOTS of BIG mosquitos that kept us inside every night - they even attacked poor Roxie.

As we were leaving the park we got stopped in another traffic jam.  This time it was because an entire bison herd was crossing the street - momma's, daddy's and babies.  Sorry, no photos to post yet as I haven't downloaded them from the camera.  I'll post them tomorrow along with the video we took when the bison walked down the middle of the street and passed our car.

Tonight we sleep in Bozeman, Montana.  It is absolutely beautiful here.  Grassy RV sites and trees surrounding us.  We arrived and hooked up then had the most beautiful thunder storm we think we've ever heard.  Lightning, thunder and pouring rain.  We then hopped in the car and went to an Albertsons for some much needed groceries - we are definitely back in civilization - and came back to a light rain.  Sat outside and had a few cocktails then made a big salad and bbq'd some hamburgers.  And guess what, we actually have a picnic table here so we sat outside and had dinner.

That's it for tonight.  We are heading to Missoula, Montana tomorrow.
