Ok. First things first. Has anyone else noticed that portion on the front page of my travelblog that says "accepting donations"? Well, at present, it says "No". That's not true. And once I work out how to change it, it will say "yes". You see, today I climbed TaiShan, the most culturally significant mountain China. A reasonable straightforward climb for a mountain it must be said. Unfortunately, the horrendous wind and rain made it a little less comfortable than hoped. And as previously foreshadowed, the shoes struggled. Therefore, donations are sought in order to provide my poor little toe with shelter and warmth from the harsh chinese elements. Spare a thought whilst you sit in your comfy high-rises for those roughing it on the ground...

I'm very much passing through this town. Not much really to add. A quick summary:
a) Big mountain.
b) I climbed it.

Now I'm cold and wet.

So, to the Top 5. Well, at the top of the mountain there's this guestbook which has the names of every person that has ever stayed a night at the top of TaiShan. I had a quick flick through the book and noticed some quite random and famous names (please note that this book may or may not exist). Therefore, the top 5 topic is Top 5 most random famour people to have stayed at the top of TaiShan.

5. Tony Dodemaide
4. Mr Fisher from Home and Away (interestingly, he actually signed his name as "Mr Fisher from Home and Away")
3. John Stamos
2. Craig McLachlan
1. Ted Danson

I'm off to Qingdao, the beer capital of China. Hopefully my cravings will be satisfied...
