After the exertians of the weekend, school returned mostly to normal today. There were 23 preschoolers there today. Seemingly making up for all the noise they didn't get to make while they were off. The older ones did letters and the younger ones developed their drawing and colouring skills. I am starting to really enjoy the afternoon classes. they younger ones, who are about 7/8 are a nightmare mainly for the fact that they don't sit still for very long, and also becasue they are of the group that did not get tteh benifit of a Smile preschool education, and so their english is poor. In fact they are probably below the standard set by the preschoolers. The other class are slightly older though and was teaching them to tell the time in English. Reminded me of sitting in French and German learning to tell the time. Luckily the kids were better at picking it up than I was (D in GCSE French andyone!) and they all got it really quickly. They are also old enough that you can have some banter with them too!

Also discovered that I awoke hyper and that did not die at any point during the day. Decided that the first thing to do today was to pick up a worm that was crawling round outside teh door and scare the teachers with it. Carolines last words before i did it were 'they are not scared of anything here.' 2 minutes later i was tossing the worm over teh fence with the teachers screaming. Hilarious!

And at 1030am today, some of the older ones turned up. I wondered why, cause they are not usually here till 1230. Turns out they were here for a sewing class! Ironically it was me who had to show them how to use the foot operated sewing machine!

After school went for a walk down to the town and walked past a barber shop. Now for 2 reasons i went in and got my hair trimmed a bit. No. 1  it is so warm here, any bit of hair on your head is too warm.. and No. 2- it has now gotten to the length that I needed to comb it every day which was bad a) because it means that it is something extra to do in the mornings and b) that was irrelevant anyway as for the life of me i cannot find the comb that my mother-  I mean I put into my bag. So it is just easier all round! Walked back with a skin head and my norn iron top on. All it needed was to be singing good times never felt so good, and having the police landrover behid me to make it complete!
