Thought we'd send through a short update along with a few photos of 'van life'. As you will see the van is pretty compact but is serving us well so far! (who knows what we will be saying in 4 months time!). We have only stayed in camping grounds so far, so are yet to need to try out our toilet/shower. Weather has gone from pretty cold and a bit damp, to nice and warm so we have been able to crack open the awning. As you will see from the photos we have brought our bikes with us.....now this will prove to be a great idea (we hope!), but as we were lugging them from London to the Berlin Campervan depot we were beginning to have other ideas. Some people travel from London to LA in 11 hours, we instead just went from home in London to the Campervan Depot in Berlin! (This would have been more like 13 hours if it hadn't been for our friends in London who generously dropped us and our bikes at the London airport).
Berlin is a great city, with lots to do and so much recent history everywhere, we really liked it. Dont be surprised if you get another entry from us straight away telling you where we are now!
