Ah, the joys of more public holidays!

Even better was the fact that we had Mikie and Claire all the way over from Aberdeen for the week.  They arrived late on Monday night to be surprised my Dougal and myself waiting for them.  Although we weren't able to take any real time off of work to take them about, they managed to see some of the city and catch up with us for a couple of lunches and then come Friday it was Easter Holiday time!

We all got sorted out (read: sobered up) and headed to Kings Park for a wander.  Mikie and Claire hadn't managed to make it up there until that point so we walked them round the Botanic Gardens and a bit of the 'bushland' before it was time to head round to Sam's house for a great big Good Friday barbecue to celebrate Phoebe's Birthday.

Lots of food and alcohol which lead to some very silly fun, including Twister and some other rather interesting party 'tricks...'

Needless to say the end of the night came around very, very quickly and it was time for us to head home - Mikie and Claire were heading off to Sydney to see his sister Natalie and her fiancee Roy for a week or so before heading up to Brisbane to see his Mum and Dad.

Lots and lots of fun, just a shame they couldn't have stayed for longer.  They have promised to come back though...  Maybe next year?

Sunday had us at the Oxford Bar in Leederville and taking in the traditional Sunday Session...  Not too much alcohol this time, but enough to kep us happy and then home early (ish!)

Monday was needless to say a bit of a wipeout and I spent it relaxing in preparation for the upcoming 4 days of work - I really, really need a holiday!
